Check-in for Day Camp will be on Monday, June 23rd from 8:15am - 9:00am. We will meet in the lobby of Bill George Arena here on the campus of JBU.
Day Camp is designed for Boys entering grades 5-9. The purpose of the camp is to teach and practice the fundamentals of basketball in a way that is FUN and ENGAGING. We will do this through various skill stations, group teaching sessions, and competitions. Campers will be led by the JBU Coaching staff as well as JBU Men’s and Women’s basketball players. Campers will be split up according to age groups.
Camp will involve:
- Offensive and defensive skills
- 1on1, 3on3 and 5on5 games
- Shooting competitions
- Pool time each day
Daily Schedule:
- First Session: skill work & competitions, half-court games
- Snack Break
- Second Session: skill work & competitions, full-court games
- Pool time
Each Camper will receive a Camp t-shirt and a basketball.
Location
The Day Camp will be held in Bill George Arena and Murray Sells gym on the campus of John Brown University, 2000 West University Street, Siloam Springs, AR 72761.
